The SALUS 091Pro-RF is a modern thermostat used for controlling heating or cooling systems. Its LCD screen and icons make it easy to use – for both installers and home users. Below is a clear explanation of the most important parts of the display.


1. Display Type and Functions

  • Type: LCD (segment), TN type, negative mode (light icons on dark background)

  • Backlight: White LED, turns off after 10 seconds if no button is pressed

  • Viewing angle: 12:00 – perfect for wall mounting at eye level

  • Operating temperature: 0°C to 60°C

The screen shows important information like current temperature, mode, and program.


2. Main Display Information

In normal mode, the screen shows:

  • Current room temperature or set temperature

  • Clock and day of the week

  • Selected mode (Auto, Party, Manual, etc.)

4. Heating and Cooling Icons

The thermostat shows demand for heat or cold with animated icons:

  • Heating – flame icon blinks when heating is ON

  • Cooling – snowflake icon blinks when cooling is ON


5. Using the Display

  • When you press any button, the screen lights up.

  • While the screen is lit, pressing buttons performs their functions.

  • If motion detection is on, the screen lights up when movement is detected.

Note: This reduces battery life.


6. Start-Up and Reset

After turning on or doing a factory reset:

  • All display segments show for 2 seconds (screen test)

The 091Pro-RF receiver (RX) has two LEDs:

  • Red LED:

    • Shows pairing, manual mode, or errors

    • Flashes or stays on depending on the status

  • Green LED:

    • Shows relay output and RF signal quality

    • ON = Good signal

    • Flashing = Weak signal

    • OFF = No signal
