The ability to activate cooling depends on how your system is configured and which devices are connected.
- Thermostat works independently (not connected to KL08RF)
- Using the Salus Premium Lite app
- Log into the Salus Premium Lite app.
- Tap the tile for your thermostat.
- On the right-hand side, locate the mode symbol (heating/cooling).
- Tap the symbol to switch between heating and cooling.
Note:
If the symbol is grayed out or unclickable, it means that the connected device does not support cooling mode.
Example: when paired with a TRV head, cooling mode is not available.
b. Directly on the thermostat
Open the menu.
Select "User Settings" and confirm.
Use the up/down arrows to choose "Heating/Cooling" and confirm.
Select the desired mode and confirm again
2. Thermostat connected to KL08RF wiring center
In this case, the heating/cooling mode is controlled directly on the wiring center:
Change the wiring center mode by shorting or opening the control terminals (refer to the KL08RF manual).
After the change, the thermostat automatically updates its mode. This will be visible:
in the app (orange tile = heating, blue tile = cooling),
on the thermostat screen:
wave icon = heating,
snowflake icon = cooling.
