Application and Overview

The SALUS Controls BTRP230 is a stylish programmable digital thermostat designed for surface or flush installation in 55x55 mm frames. It controls underfloor heating or cooling systems with high thermal inertia. Compatible with KL08NSB or KL06 wiring centres, it supports weekly scheduling and NSB signal communication, allowing centralized control in multi-zone heating systems.

Installation Steps

2. Installation Location:

• Ideal height: ~1.5 m above floor level

• Avoid direct sunlight or proximity to radiators or drafts

• Mount in φ 60 mm electrical box

3. Wiring Options:

• 4-wire installation with KL08NSB or KL06: Enables MASTER mode – sends NSB signal to SLAVE thermostats.

• 3-wire installation: No NSB function – each thermostat operates independently.

• Using RM-16A relay: For connection with gas boilers, solid fuel boilers or high-power devices (up to 16 A).
