Step 2. CB12RF Setup

Configure the CB12RF to act as a coordinator - creating own Network where compatible devices can connect and communicate.

2.1. Set Jumper to ZigBee 3.0

Locate the jumper on the CB12RF unit and switch it from IT600 to ZigBee 3.0. This ensures that the CB12RF is communicating using the correct protocol.

2.2. Set switch to Master

Locate the MASTER – OFF – SLAVE slider switch and push it to Master.

A red and white rectangular object with textAI-generated content may be incorrect.

Note: Only in the Master position will the CB12RF work as a coordinator.

Step 3. Connecting and Assigning

Pair and assign the EL600F to a CB12RF zone.

3.1. Open the Network on the CB12RF

On the CB12RF press and hold the NETWORK button for 3 seconds to open its network. The network is open when the Status light is green, and ZigBee light is flashing.

3.2. Set EL600F to Pair mode

Press the top button once to wake up the thermostats screen, then press and hold the top button till two letters appear. Turn the dial to move between options, set to P (for Pair) and press the top button to accept.

A black circular object with arrows pointing at the screenAI-generated content may be incorrect.

Note: If P is not available, factory reset the thermostat by scrolling to Fr accept with top button, then scroll to yes and accept.

3.3. Assign a zone

While the EL600F is in pairing mode, on the CB12RF locate the desired zone button found on its right-hand side. Press and hold the desired zone button for 5 seconds, so it starts flashing. When the zone light stops flashing and goes solid green the thermostat is now paired to that zone.

To select multiple zones, simply repeat the process for each desired zone button.

3.4. Close the Network on the CB12RF

When all devices are connected and zones assigned, we close the network to avoid accidental changes. Either let the 10 minutes run out for auto close or close the network manually by holding the network button for 3 seconds till the Zigbee light goes from flashing to solid red.
