Frozen Display – What to Do When the Thermostat Doesn’t Respond
If the screen is frozen and the device is not responding to touch or button presses, try one of the reset options below. Both methods restart the device without erasing your settings or paired devices.
1. Soft Reset
Purpose: to quickly restart the device without losing settings.
How to do it:
- Press and hold the OK button for 6 seconds.
- The thermostat will enter sleep mode (SLEEP MODE).
- To turn it back on, press and hold the OK button again for 6 seconds.
Result: the thermostat will restart with all previous settings and connections intact.
2. Physical Reset (rear button)
Purpose: an alternative method to restart the device without deleting the configuration.
How to do it:
- Use a thin object (e.g., a paperclip) to press the RESET button located on the back of the device.
Result: the thermostat will reboot while keeping all your settings and paired devices.
