How to move UG800 and connect to new WiFi ?

Step 1: Unplug the gateway...

  1. Remove power and LAN cable
  2. Move to a new place

Step 2: Power up the gateway

  1. Plug in USB or power adapter
  2. Don’t plug LAN if using WiFi
  3. Wait for the LEDs to turn on

Step 3: Open the SALUS app

  1. The app will show “offline”
  2. Tap the gateway choose “Change WiFi network”

Step 4: Connect to new WiFi (via Bluetooth)

  1. Press the main button on gateway (less than 3 seconds)
    1. The device goes into pairing mode
  2. In app
    1. choose “Connect via Bluetooth”
  3. When the device appears
    1. select it
    2. Enter new WiFi name and password

Step 5: Wait for connection

  1. LED “Cloud” must turn green = connected to internet

Tips:

  1. Gateway name: SAL3AG1-XXXX
  2. Default WiFi AP password = last 8 characters of MAC (UPPERCASE)
  3. To reset: press hidden button for 10+ seconds
