Installation of the UG600

                                    

Introduction :   The Universal Gateway is the key product for the SALUS Smart Home system. This will offer you the possibility to wirelessly control all the connected equipment just by using your smartphone or your computer. You can connect up to 240 devices to one gateway.



Product Compliance :  This product complies with the essential requirements and other relevant provisions of Directives 2014/53/EU and 2011/65/EU. The full text of the EU Declaration of Conformity is available at the following internet address: www.saluslegal.com.



Safety Information :  Use in accordance with the regulations. Indoor use only. Keep your device completely dry. Disconnect your device before cleaning it with a dry cloth.






This product must be used with the SALUS Smart Home App.




Installation Procedure :


  1. First connect your UG600 Gateway to a power source and to your Internet Router / Broadband Hub using the cables provided.


              


              

The LED on your Gateway will go through a sequence of colour changes. If everything is connected correctly and you have an Internet connection your Gateway should finally turn blue.


If your Gateway remains Green, it means you do not have an Internet Connection.


  1. Now download and install the Salus Smart Home App.



  1. Press ‘Sign Up’ on the App and follow the on-screen instructions to create a Smart Home Account. Once you have confirmed the account, press ‘Sign In’ and log in with your credentials.


                   

  1. When you sign in you will be asked to Activate your Gateway. Simply do this by clicking on the Orange ‘Activate Gateway’ button.


                


  1. Press the button on the top of the Gateway, your UG600 will begin to flash Green.

  1. Now click on the blue ‘Search for Gateway’ button.

  1. When your Gateway is found, its Serial Number will automatically be populated onto the screen. You now have two minutes to select the options on the screen and complete the address and name for your Gateway. You then need to press the blue ‘Activate my Gateway’ button.


          


Note : If the screen times out before you have finished entering the information, simply press the button on the top of the Gateway once, the LED should return to solid blue. Then click on the ‘Search for Gateway’ button again and re-enter the details completing the process by clicking the ‘Activate my Gateway’ button.


  1. You have now successfully installed your UG600 Gateway. 


 

  1. To go to your Smart Home Dashboard, press the Salus Logo.
