1. General Description

The TRV10RFM is a modern, wireless head that works with ZigBee 2.4 GHz. You can use it with the UGE600 internet gateway (online) or the CO10RF coordinator (offline). It works with iT600RF thermostats like SQ610RF, VS10WRF, VS20WRF.

Step-by-Step Installation

Step 1: Choose the right coordinator

• UGE600 – if you want to control the system with the app (remote access).
• CO10RF – if the system works locally (no internet).
  Do not use UGE600 and CO10RF together – they are not compatible.

Step 2: Install the head on the valve

• Fits M30x1.5 valves (e.g. Heimeier, Oventrop).
• For Danfoss RA valves, use the adapter (included).
• For M28x1.5 valves (Herz, MMA) – check if a metal ring is needed.

Step 3: Insert the batteries

• Insert 2 AA batteries (check + and - signs).
• Close the battery cover.

Step 4: Valve adaptation

• Press any button – the head will start valve adaptation (takes up to 5 minutes).
• The LED stops blinking when finished.

Step 5: Pairing with ZigBee network

1. Press and hold the pairing button (antenna symbol) for 10 seconds.
2. The LED will blink red – pairing mode.
3. Pair the head with the Salus Smart Home app or a thermostat.
4. If pairing works, the LED blinks orange.
5. Done – the head is ready to use.

The LED light shows the current state of the TRV10RFM head. Here’s what each signal means:

Basic Signals

• 🟥🟩 Red and green blinking – Head is turning on and shows software version.
• 🟩 then 🟥 then LED off – Valve adaptation done.
• 🟧 Orange blinking – Head is added to ZigBee network.
• 💡 No LED – Head is paired and working in automatic mode.

Automatic Mode

• 🟩 Blink once green – Valve is open.
• 🟥 Blink once red – Valve is closed.

Manual Mode

• 🟩🟩 Blink twice green – Valve is 100% open.
• 🟩 Blink once green – Valve manually closed.
• 🟥🟥 Blink twice red – Valve manually closed.
• Press pairing button once – back to automatic mode (blinks red once).

Open Window Function

• 🟥🟩 Red and green blinking 2 times every 10 seconds – Open window detected. Valve is closed.

Low Battery

• 🟥🟥🟥 Blink 3 times red every 10 seconds – Batteries are low.
  The valve opens to 25% to keep some heat.

Other Situations

• 🟧 then 🟥 Orange, then red blinking – Head was removed from the coordinator.
• 🟩 Blink green for up to 10 minutes – Head is turned on, waiting for setup.
• 🟥🟩 Red and green blinking after button press – No connection to coordinator.
• 🟥🟩 Red and green blinking (no valve movement) – Installation error.

• ❄️ Frost protection – Valve opens if room is too cold.
• 🧼 Anti-limescale – Valve opens every 14 days to stay clean.

Final Tips
