iT800 – Thermostat won't pair (how to re-pair)

Q: I'm trying to pair up my IT800 WiFi thermostat following the instructions, but it doesn't work. How do I re-pair it?

The receiver and thermostat need to be put into pairing mode. Make sure they are in range but at least 1 metre apart.

  1. On the IT800 receiver, take a paperclip or SIM-card pusher and insert it into the left-hand switch marked ZigBee; press it in for 3 seconds. The bottom switch's blue LED should now flash.
  2. On the thermostat, press the button to wake the screen, then press and hold it for 3 seconds – you should see HC on the screen.
  3. Turn the dial to menu Fr and press the button, then turn the dial to change NO to YES.
  4. The thermostat will reset and go into pairing mode, with the antenna icon flashing. When the antenna icon is solid, it is re-paired.
  5. Use the paperclip again to press the ZigBee pairing button on the receiver for 3 seconds to end pairing – the bottom blue LED should stop flashing.
