Introduction

The IT800 WIFI Smart Thermostat is a wireless ZigBee thermostat that controls the pre-paired WZ600 Zigbee Wi-Fi Receiver, which has a single-channel relay. It is the coordinator of the network, allowing devices to join the network and managing them thereafter. This product complies with the essential requirements and other relevant provisions of Directives 2014/30/EU, 2014/35/EU, 2014/53/EU, and 2015/863/EU. Safety Information

Receiver Buttons

  1. AUTO: Receiver operates in automatic mode according to the thermostat.

  2. MANUAL: Receiver output is controlled manually (Manual ON can be disabled in the app).

  3. ON: When in Manual Mode, ON will turn the boiler on.

  4. OFF: When in Manual Mode, OFF will turn the boiler off.

  5. Push Button: Used for various settings and controls.

  6. Rotating Dial: Adjusts temperature and other settings.

Installation and Setup

Wiring Diagram

  • Thermostat: Connects to the boiler and other components as shown in the wiring diagram.

  • Receiver: Connects to the AC 230V supply, boiler, valve actuator, and pump.

First Power Up

  1. Power on the device.

  2. The thermostat is initially in Shutdown mode.

Installation in Online Mode (using Bluetooth)

  1. Power on the device.

  2. Follow these steps in the Salus Premium Lite app to gain control:

    • Install the Salus Premium Lite app.

    • Follow the instructions for pairing and setup.

Advanced Menu

  1. Heat/Cool Modes: Adjust the thermostat between heating and cooling modes.

  2. RF Signal: Check the RF signal strength. The RSSI level is shown for 10 seconds, then the thermostat will return to the Home screen.

  3. Factory Reset: Press and hold the ZigBee and WiFi buttons for 10 seconds to perform a factory reset.

Operation Modes

  1. AUTO Mode: The thermostat follows a pre-set schedule.

  2. MANUAL Mode: Manually control the thermostat settings.

  3. OFF Mode: The thermostat is off, with frost protection activated.

Schedule Settings

  • Default Schedule:

    • Heating (Monday to Sunday):

      • 6:00 AM - 21°C

      • 11:00 PM - 19°C

    • Cooling:

      • Set according to user preference.

  • Custom schedules can be set using the Salus Premium Lite app.

Pairing Process

  1. To pair devices, ensure the thermostat and receiver are within range.

  2. Follow the steps in the Salus Premium Lite app for pairing additional devices.

Troubleshooting

  • Lost Internet Connection: Ensure the device is within range of the WiFi router and check network settings.

  • No Heat/Cool Demand: Ensure devices are correctly linked with the receiver.

  • OTA in Progress: Do not interrupt the process when the over-the-air update is in progress.

  • The thermostat and receiver arrive pre-paired from the factory.

  • Connected to Internet: Receiver is connected to the internet.

  • Lost Internet Connection: Receiver has lost the internet connection.

  • Heat Demand: Indicates a demand for heating.

  • Cool Demand: Indicates a demand for cooling.

  • ZigBee Network is Open: The network is open for devices to join.

  • No Heat/Cool Demand OR No Devices Linked with Receiver: Indicates no current demand or no devices are linked.
