Manual Mode in SALUS 091Pro-RF – Simple Temperature Control
Manual Mode in the SALUS 091Pro-RF thermostat lets you set and keep one temperature, without using the weekly schedule. It’s a good option for users who want fast and easy control of the room temperature.
What is Manual Mode?
Manual Mode allows the user to choose a fixed temperature that stays the same – until the user changes the mode (for example: back to AUTO, PARTY, or HOLIDAY).
In this mode:
- The weekly schedule is ignored
- The temperature does not change automatically
- You set the target temperature by hand
How to turn on Manual Mode?
- On the main screen, press the MODE / PROG# button
- The mode list will appear – icons will blink
- Use the ▲ / ▼ buttons to choose the manual mode icon (e.g. ✋ or no schedule icon)
- Press OK to confirm
- The thermostat enters Manual Mode and keeps a fixed temperature
How to set the temperature in Manual Mode?
In Manual Mode, you can easily change the temperature:
For Program Type 1:
- Press COMFORT (☀️) – to set comfort temperature
- Press ECO (🌙) – to set economy temperature
➡️ You can switch between the two as needed
For Program Type 2:
- Use ▲ / ▼ buttons to change the temperature directly
- The changes are saved immediately and stay until you change the mode

How to turn off Manual Mode and return to AUTO?
- Press the MODE / PROG# button again
- Scroll to Auto Mode (calendar icon or time bars)
- Press OK to confirm
Installer Note
- Motion detection (Boost) does not work in Manual Mode
- Some functions (like Party Mode) are not available
- The program bar is hidden on the screen
- The RX receiver relay follows the set temperature, not the time of day
