PIN CODE and keypad lock in the 091PRO-RF thermostat

1. Introduction

The 091PRO-RF thermostat allows the user to protect access using a four-digit PIN code. This code can also be applied to the Child Lock function, preventing accidental or unauthorized changes.


2. Setting a new PIN code (if none was set)

  1. Enter the Service Menu (press and hold OK for 5 seconds).
  2. Select Enable PIN Code.
  3. You will be asked if you want to set a new code:
    1. NO (default): skip setting a PIN.
    2. YES: enter a 4-digit PIN code.
  4. After confirmation, move to Apply PIN to Child Lock.
While entering:
  • Press OK to go to the next digit.
  • Press BACK to return to the previous digit.
  • If on the first digit and BACK is pressed, return to the YES/NO screen.
3. If a PIN code was already set
  1. You will be prompted to enter the code.
  2. If matched, you can:
    1. Keep the code (YES, default)
    2. Disable the code (NO)
  3. If unmatched, the display resets to “0000”.

4. Apply PIN to Child Lock

  • After setting a code, the thermostat asks if you want to protect the key lock with the same PIN.
    • Default: NO
    • If YES is selected, unlocking the keys will require entering the PIN.

5. Lock / Unlock keys

  • To lock the thermostat, press and hold TEMP + OK for 3 seconds.
  • To unlock:
    • If no PIN is linked to the key lock, it unlocks directly.
    • If PIN is applied, code entry is required.
