RT310 Series models explained


RT310/RT310TX/RT310RF/RT310SP/RT310SPE/RT310SR/RT310iTX/RT310i/RT310iSP/RT310iSPE/RT310iSR - These are the RT310 series devices.

Model numbers explained:

RT310 - Hard-wired thermostat, wired directly to a boiler or other HVAC system, no wireless support, no internet support. The RT310 cannot be paired to any wireless device or gateway.

RT310TX - Wireless thermostat only, needs to be paired to one of the following to work: a receiver (RXRT510 or SSR868), a smart relay (SR868), or a smart plug (SP868 or SPE868). No internet support. The RT310TX does not work with the RXWBC605, RXVBC605, or LG+5V (these are plug-in receivers).

RT310RF - A full kit of thermostat (RT310TX) + receiver (RXRT510), no internet support. The thermostat unit in the RT310RF kit is the RT310TX. All RT310TX specifications, settings, and troubleshooting apply.

RT310SP - A full kit of thermostat (RT310TX) + smart plug UK (SP868), no internet support. The thermostat unit in the RT310SP kit is the RT310TX. All RT310TX specifications, settings, and troubleshooting apply.

RT310SPE - A full kit of thermostat (RT310TX) + smart plug EU (SPE868), no internet support. The thermostat unit in the RT310SPE kit is the RT310TX. All RT310TX specifications, settings, and troubleshooting apply.

RT310SR - A full kit of thermostat (RT310TX) + smart relay (SR868), no internet support. The thermostat unit in the RT310SR kit is the RT310TX. All RT310TX specifications, settings, and troubleshooting apply.

RT310iTX - Wireless thermostat only, needs to be paired to one of the following to work: a receiver (RXRT510 or SSR868), a smart relay (SR868), or a smart plug (SP868 or SPE868). Supports internet control with the iTG310 or iTG500 gateway. The RT310iTX does not work with the RXWBC605, RXVBC605, or LG+5V (these are plug-in receivers).

RT310i - A full kit of thermostat (RT310iTX) + receiver (RXRT510) + gateway (iTG310) + accessories (varies by kit), internet controllable. The thermostat unit in the RT310i kit is the RT310iTX. All RT310iTX specifications, settings, and troubleshooting apply.

RT310iSP - A full kit of thermostat (RT310iTX) + smart plug UK (SP868) + gateway (iTG310) + accessories (varies by kit), internet controllable. The thermostat unit in the RT310iSP kit is the RT310iTX. All RT310iTX specifications, settings, and troubleshooting apply.

RT310iSPE - A full kit of thermostat (RT310iTX) + smart plug EU (SPE868) + gateway (iTG310) + accessories (varies by kit), internet controllable. The thermostat unit in the RT310iSPE kit is the RT310iTX. All RT310iTX specifications, settings, and troubleshooting apply.

RT310iSR - A full kit of thermostat (RT310iTX) + smart relay (SR868) + gateway (iTG310) + accessories (varies by kit), internet controllable. The thermostat unit in the RT310iSR kit is the RT310iTX. All RT310iTX specifications, settings, and troubleshooting apply.

The RT310TX (for non-internet kits) and RT310iTX (for internet kits) can be paired to the following devices only and are not compatible with any other device: RXRT510 (receiver), SR868 (smart relay), SP868 (smart plug UK), SPE868 (smart plug EU), SSR868 (super slim receiver). Please follow each device’s pairing instructions on how to put them in pairing mode.

Only the RT310iTX can be paired to the iTG310 (included in the RT310 series internet controllable kits and sold on its own) or iTG500 (included in the iT500 and iT500BM kits) gateway for internet control.

The RT310TX and RT310iTX thermostats work with the legacy 868 MHz protocol only, meaning they work only with the legacy smart plugs (SP868 or SPE868) and smart relay (SR868) but do not work with the smart home range smart relay (SR600) and smart plug (SP600) that use the iT600 protocol.

The RT310TX and RT310iTX are also NOT compatible with plug-in receivers (RXWBC605, RXVBC605, LG+5V).
