RT510 family of devices:

Question: My RT510RF / RT510TX thermostat is broken, do I need to replace the whole system?
Answer: You can get the RT510TX thermostat and pair it with your existing receiver.



Question: What is the range of the RT510RF / RT510TX thermostat system?
Answer: The 868MHz RF range is approximately 30m in open conditions. Range may be less at distance, with other RF sources nearby or from building materials or walls.



Question: What is the different between RT510RF and RT510RF+
Answer: The '+' designation means it’s the version which is boiler plus compliant and carries appropriate settings for more efficient heating control.



Question: What is the main difference between RT310 and RT510 family of products
Answer: The RT510 family have a clock and programming schedules, the RT310 family does not.



Question: Will the RF receiver, RXRT510, work with other thermostats? Which thermostats are compatible with RXRT510?
Answer: It should pair with the RT510RF, RT510TX, RF310RF or RT310TX thermostats but won't pair with other RF models or with smart home thermostats



Question: Can the system be used with an app or other smart heating system? Can I upgrade to a smart thermostat without changing the receiver? Can I purchase a Smart Wi-Fi controlled Thermostat that will communicate plugin receiver?
Answer: No, the receiver or thermostat are not compatible with app and smart systems. The system would need to be upgraded for smart device features and control.



Question: Thermostat is not pairing with receiver.
Answer: Confirm the receiver model, and direct the user to follow full re-pairing steps for that model.



Question: IS the RXRT510 compatible with the full thermostat range?
Answer: No, its compatible with a specific range of thermostats, the RT510RF, RT510TX, RF310RF or RT310TX.



Question: My thermostat is broken, what do I need to replace?
Answer: If the user has RT510RF or RT510TX then the RT510TX is the replacement thermostat only part. If they have the hardwired RT510 then the RT510 is the correct part.



Question: Can the RT510TX be used with an app? Can It work with my Phone? Can I sue this with Alexa?
Answer: No, the receiver and thermostat are not compatible with app and smart systems.
The system would need to be upgraded for smart device features and control.



Question: Will the RT510TX work with my BOILER MODEL ?
Answer: The receiver with the full RT510RF system will work with all boilers. Systems supplied with boiler specific plugin receivers will only work with specific boiler models. Check with your boiler brand and model for receiver compatibility.


Question: We want to use the thermostat just up and down? How Can I use the thermostat without following a schedule?
Answer: To enable the thermostat for manual mode, press the hand button and you should see the Hand icon on screen. Now the thermostat will no longer follow the schedule and will instead operate at your chosen set point.



Question: Not turning the boiler on, needing a trouble shooting guide or help operating the thermostat.
Answer: Check the receiver and stat are still paired. Is there a red flashing LED on the receiver? If there is a call for heat, does the receiver ON LED turn on? If not, follow pairing instructions for the thermostat and the receiver model that they have.



Question: Is the RT510LG+5V+ compatible with boiler brand and model XXXX?
Answer: The RXBC5V receiver included with this system is for specific Ideal Logic and Vougue boilers only. It is not compatible with other Ideal models or other barands of boilers. The receiver unit requires the 5v DC supply from the boiler.



Question: Screen on the thermostat is blank or blank after battery change
Answer: Remove batteries for at least 10 minutes, then replace with gooquality Alkaline types. (Not Zinc or rechangeble types)
