RT510 Series models explained


RT510/RT510+/RT510TX/RT510TX+/RT510RF/RT510RF+/RT510SPE/RT510SR/RT510BC+/RT510WBC+/RT510LG+5V+ - These are the RT510 series devices. The RT510 series is the programmable version of the RT310 series, offering additional scheduling options and settings.

Model numbers explained:

RT510 - Hard-wired programmable thermostat, wired directly to a boiler or other HVAC system, no wireless support, no internet support. The RT510 cannot be paired to any wireless device or gateway.

RT510+ - Same as the RT510 but Boiler Plus compliant with newer firmware. Hard-wired only, no wireless support, no internet support. The RT510+ cannot be paired to any wireless device or gateway.

RT510TX - Wireless programmable thermostat only, needs to be paired to one of the following to work: a receiver (RXRT510 or SSR868), a smart relay (SR868), a smart plug (SPE868), or a plug-in receiver (RXWBC605, RXBC605, or LG+5V). No internet support.

RT510TX+ - Same as the RT510TX but Boiler Plus compliant with newer firmware. Pairing and compatibility are identical to the RT510TX. No internet support.

RT510RF - A full kit of thermostat (RT510TX) + receiver (RXRT510), no internet support. The thermostat unit in the RT510RF kit is the RT510TX. All RT510TX specifications, settings, and troubleshooting apply.

RT510RF+ - A full kit of thermostat (RT510TX+) + receiver (RXRT510), no internet support. The thermostat unit in the RT510RF+ kit is the RT510TX+. All RT510TX+ specifications, settings, and troubleshooting apply.

RT510SPE - A full kit of thermostat (RT510TX) + smart plug EU (SPE868), no internet support. The thermostat unit in the RT510SPE kit is the RT510TX. All RT510TX specifications, settings, and troubleshooting apply.

RT510SR - A full kit of thermostat (RT510TX) + smart relay (SR868), no internet support. The thermostat unit in the RT510SR kit is the RT510TX. All RT510TX specifications, settings, and troubleshooting apply.

RT510BC+ - A full kit of thermostat (RT510TX+) + plug-in receiver for Baxi boilers (RXBC605), no internet support. The thermostat unit in the RT510BC+ kit is the RT510TX+. All RT510TX+ specifications, settings, and troubleshooting apply.

RT510WBC+ - A full kit of thermostat (RT510TX+) + plug-in receiver for Worcester Bosch boilers (RXWBC605), no internet support. The thermostat unit in the RT510WBC+ kit is the RT510TX+. All RT510TX+ specifications, settings, and troubleshooting apply.

RT510LG+5V+ - A full kit of thermostat (RT510TX+) + plug-in receiver for Ideal Logic boilers (LG+5V), no internet support. The thermostat unit in the RT510LG+5V+ kit is the RT510TX+. All RT510TX+ specifications, settings, and troubleshooting apply. Note: The LG+5V indicates it is a 5V plugin receiver. Do not use with 24V or 230V boilers as this will damage the plug-in receiver.

The RT510TX and RT510TX+ can be paired to the following devices only and are not compatible with any other device: RXRT510 (receiver), SR868 (smart relay), SPE868 (smart plug EU), SSR868 (super slim receiver), RXWBC605 (plug-in receiver for Worcester Bosch boilers), RXBC605 (plug-in receiver for Baxi boilers), LG+5V (plug-in receiver for Ideal Logic boilers). Please follow each device's pairing instructions on how to put them in pairing mode.

The RT510 series does not support internet control. There is no gateway-compatible variant. The RT510TX and RT510TX+ cannot be paired to any gateway (iTG310, iTG500, UGE600 or UG800). For internet control, you need to replace your system with the iT700 or iT800 kit.

The RT510TX and RT510TX+ thermostats work with the legacy 868 MHz protocol only, meaning they work only with the legacy smart plug (SPE868) and smart relay (SR868) but do not work with the smart home range smart relay (SR600) and smart plug (SP600) that use the iT600 protocol.
