RT520RF - Changing the Language

 RT520RF : Changing the Language  (5.4.1) .

Description :

If you want to change the language on your RT520 series thermostat, or maybe need to change it back to English from a foreign language then please follow these procedures.

  Procedure 1 :  Changing the Language from English.


  1. Press one of the buttons to ‘wake’ the thermostat. The screen will illuminate.


  1. Press the COG  button (first of the buttons from the left) SCHEDULE will be displayed on the screen in whichever language is currently selected.


  1. Press the Down Arrowbutton twice. 

It will now say LANGUAGE on the screen in the currently selected language. 

Press the Tick button to enter this menu, 


  1. The display will now show the Thermostats currently selected language. 


  1. Using the Arrow buttons, select your desired Language, and then press the Tick button to confirm.


  1. The screen will now return to the normal display. 

Pressing the Cog  button will now show the Menu in your selected language.


  1. Pressing the Cog  button again returns you to the normal temperature display.


Procedure 2 :  Changing the Language to English.


  1. Press one of the buttons to ‘wake’ the thermostat. The screen will illuminate.


  1. Press the COG  button (first of the buttons from the left) SCHEDULE will be displayed on the screen in whichever language is currently selected.


  1. Press the Down Arrowbutton twice. 

It will now say LANGUAGE on the screen in the currently selected language. 

Press the Tick button to enter this menu, 


  1. The display will now show the Thermostats currently selected language. 

Using the Arrow buttons, select your desired Language, and then press the Tick button to confirm.


  1. The screen will now return to the normal display. 

Pressing the Cog  button will now show the Menu in your selected language.


  1. Pressing the Cog  button again returns you to the normal temperature display.
