Salus TRV3RF Setup guide: Standalone, and online via Salus Premium Lite app.

Part 1. Mounting the TRV3RF on your radiator valve. 


Step 1. Identify your valve, to know which adapter you should use and mount the adapter. 





Step 2. Install the included batteries in the TRV. The display will light up


 


Step 3. Mount the TRV on the adapter and turn the locking ring so the TRV is locked to the adapter. 




Part 2. Calibration 


Step 1. Press the button on the TRV
1 time, then turn the dial until the icon on the screen is facing the right way. Then press the button again to confirm. 





Step 2. The TRV will subsequently write CA in the display which means calibration. Start the calibration by giving the button a short press. When the display shows the room temperature the calibration has finished. 




The TRV3RF can now operate as a standalone TRV both locally and in the app. Alternatively, it can be paired with a thermostat either offline via the UG800 gateway or online through the app, providing flexible control options to suit your setup.

Part 3. Pairing with gateway online for app control. 


Step 1. Give the button a short press, then a long press until the display is flashing.  Turn the dial until you see a P in the display. Confirm with a short press. 



Step 2. Start a “scan for equipment” in the app by pressing the menu button at the top right corner. Choose equipment, all equipment, add new equipment, scan for equipment. 




Step 3. Connect the equipment by select the equipment in the box and click “connect equipment”. Name the equipment and click next. Click finish to finishing the process. 


 


Now your TRV can be controlled in the app. If you add room thermostats like SQ610RF and EL600F you can control up to 6 TRV’s at the same time.
