Salus SIR600 Smart IR Controller Setup Guide: Integrating Your AC for Smart Home Control

This guide provides a comprehensive walkthrough of setting up the Salus SIR600 Smart IR Controller, enabling you to control your air conditioner (AC) remotely and integrate it into your Salus Smart Home system. This process of setting up with and connecting it to the network.

What You'll Need:

  • Salus SIR600 Smart IR Controller
  • Salus Universal Gateway (UGE600) connected to the internet
  • Smartphone or tablet with the Salus Smart Home app installed
  • Your AC remote control
  • Your AC model information
  • Your home Wi-Fi network name and password

Step 1: Initial App Navigation


1. Access the Menu Button select the menu button.

2. Go to "Equipment" and then Click "All equipment"



Step 2: Adding The device Preparing to add the new device on the app.

1. My Equipment" Under “My Equipment”, Click the "Add New Equipment” button


Step 3: Initiate the Setup

Starting the process.


1. Preparing: Press and hold the Minus “–” button on SIR600 until the LED starts flashing blue.



Step 4: Find it in the menu list Now you have the option to find the device that you want to connect.

1. Connect the smart AC: Select “Scan for Smart IR AC Controller". In the screen it will connect it the code

  

Step 5: Linking the device The next stage is now selecting to linking it to the device.

Step 6: Using the CodeSet Option “A”

1. Preparing: Now place the code set for which the air conditioner you are going to be operating.

 

2. Choose 2-5cm (2): Follow the step by pressing the power button near the “salus logo" within the 2-5cm range.




3. The test run: After making sure that is working properly set the first code, second, and last set.

1. Prepare connecting to what will connect to The network. Enter to code: Press and put in the code what will operate your device.
