SQ610 - FAQs

Question: I forgot the PIN – what should I do?
Answer: Contact SALUS technical support – the device will need to be sent in for unlocking.

Question: My thermostat keeps losing connection with the wiring center – what does it mean?
Answer: Frequent disconnections may indicate weak ZigBee signal strength.
To check this:
Move the thermostat closer to another 230V-powered SALUS device (e.g., KL08RF wiring center, UGE600/UG800 gateway,
SPE600 smart plug, or a wired thermostat).
      – If the connection improves, signal range was likely the issue.
To solve it:
Add a signal repeater or another 230V-powered SALUS device (e.g., SPE600), which will also act as a range extender.

Question: Changing temperature units
Answer:
You can change the temperature units (°F/°C) in two ways:
On the device: Menu → Installer settings → Temperature scale → select unit → confirm.
In the app: Select device tile → Settings (gear icon) → Settings → Advanced settings → choose unit → save changes at the bottom.

Answer: To check what device the SQ610/SQ610RF is paired with:
Select the thermostat tile → Settings (gear icon).
In the “Information” tab, see the “Paired with” line.

Question:
Additional S1/S2 options
Answer: To use the additional S1/S2 inputs:
      – Connect an additional sensor according to the manual.
      – On the thermostat: Menu → Installer settings → Additional input S1/S2 → select function → confirm.
      – In the app: Settings → Advanced settings → “Input S1/S2” → choose function from the list.
