Question: I forgot the PIN – what should I do?
Answer: Contact SALUS technical support – the device will need to be sent in for unlocking.
Question: My thermostat keeps losing connection with the wiring center – what does it mean?
Answer: Frequent disconnections may indicate weak ZigBee signal strength.
To check this:
– Move the thermostat closer to another 230V-powered SALUS device (e.g., KL08RF wiring center, UGE600/UG800 gateway,
SPE600 smart plug, or a wired thermostat).
– If the connection improves, signal range was likely the issue.
To solve it:
– Add a signal repeater or another 230V-powered SALUS device (e.g., SPE600), which will also act as a range extender.

Question:
What does it mean when my thermostat is saying “Go to the smart home app”?
Answer:
The “Go to the smart home app” means the thermostat (SQ610 or SQ610RF) has been added to your account but has not been setup. You need to assign what the thermostat will control to finish the setup.
If you skipped the setup step when adding the thermostat, you can finish the setup by going in app:
Menu -> Equipment -> All Equipment -> select the thermostat -> press the Cog symbol for settings -> you will be prompted to select a device you want the thermostat to control – resuming the setup. After finishing the setup, the thermostat will display the time and temperature.
Question:
SQ610RF – how to copy settings and schedules.
Answer:
In the Salus smart home app you can copy an existing device settings and schedules to a new, same model, device. You will not be able to copy to a different model type due to different settings being available.
This option is available when Saving settings, when you press Save you will get a prompt to change settings for all, same model only, devices or just this individual device.
Connect and assign your new device. In the app open a device setting, whose settings you want to copy, and change any of its setting to a different value and back to original value – making Save button available. Press Save and you will get a choice to apply these device settings to all, same model, devices or just this individual one, select Change all devices.
To copy a schedule, use the “Duplicate schedule” option found in the app, under the device Schedule edit screen - where you create and edit schedules.
