TRV3RF installation
Start by mounting the correct adapter to your radiator valve.
Insert the batteries and check it turn right. The display will turn on.
Mount the TRV on the adapter and turn the locking ring so the TRV is locked fixed
Turn the dial until the icon is facing the right way and confirm with the button
The TRV will subsequently write CA in the display which means calibration. Start the calibration by giving the button a short press. When the display is showing the room temperature the calibration has finished
The TRV3RF can now operate as a standalone TRV both locally and in the app. Alternatively, it can be paired with a thermostat either offline via the UG800 gateway or online through the app, providing flexible control options to suit your setup.
Pairing offline with EL600T via gateway
Start by press and hold the button on the gateway to the ZigBee LED is orange
Give the button a short press and then a long press for 3 seconds. Turn until you se a P in the display. Press the button to confirm
You will now see a RF icon in the display. That means the TRV has connection to the gateway
Give the button a short press and then a long press. Turn until you see this icon Confirm by pressing the button
On the thermostat press and hold the button at the top. Turn it until you se a P on confirm on the button. When its’s paired the thermostat will go back to show the temperature
On The TRV you will no longer see the temperature but only the thermostat icon
Give the button a short press and then a long press for 3 seconds. Turn until you se a P in the display. Press the button to confirm
You will now see a RF icon in the display. That means the TRV has connection to the gateway
Give the button a short press and then a long press. Turn until you see this icon Confirm by pressing the button
On the thermostat press and hold the button at the top. Turn it until you se a P on confirm on the button. When its’s paired the thermostat will go back to show the temperature
On The TRV you will no longer see the temperature but only the thermostat icon
Pairing with gateway online for app control
Give the button a short press and then a long press. Turn until the display show a P and press the button
Open the app and click the menu button in right hand corner
Choose Equipment
Choose All Equipment
Choose All Equipment
Choose Add new Equipment and scan for Equipment
click in the square to select the TRV you want to add and choose Connect equipment
Name the TRV and choose next
Choose Finish
Now your TRV are added to the app, and can be
controlled like your other thermostats
Pairing with thermostat via gateway online
Follow the guide from your thermostat you want to pair with TRV3RF to add it to the app
When you get to this point in adding your thermostat click on the device name to set up the
pairing
Chose Smart radiator control and click next
Choose TRV3RF and click next
Choose the TRV’s you want to be pair with the thermostat. You can choose up to 6 TRV’s. Click
pair
Now your Thermostat are paired with your TRV. Click Finish
This is what you will see at your frontpage. Controls the temperature on the thermostat
