My App is not finding the Gateway and the Gateway Serial Number is not populating ?
Press the button on top of the gateway once so that it flashes green, then on your Smart Home App in Equipment, Gateways, press “Search for gateway” immediately.
The 2 minute registration window has expired ?
Press the button on top of the gateway once. The LED should return to solid blue. Next, click “Search for gateway” followed by clicking “Activate my gateway” to complete the process (Refer to: Doc. )
What colour should the LED be on my gateway ?
Your gateway will be solid blue if paired correctly.
Can I turn off the Gateway LED ?
Yes. Open the Smart Home App, then press the MENU button. Next press Equipment, followed by Gateways. Here you can now change the LED setting between ‘Always On’ and ‘Off when Idle’.
Why is my Gateway LED not illuminated ?
Why is my Gateway LED permanent green. ?
If you have a permanent green LED on your Gateway, then you have lost internet connection. Check your Ethernet Cable and that your Internet Router or WiFi is working.
My Gateway LED is flashing green ?
Simply press your gateway button once to return to normal mode. The LED should turn blue.
How many devices can I connect to the UG600 Gateway ?
You can connect up to 240 devices to the UG600 gateway.
How do I factory reset my UG600 Gateway ?
Press and hold the button on the top of your Gateway for more than 10 seconds until the LED turns yellow then release. Your Gateway will re-start and the LED will go through a sequence of Green, Red, Green and finally to its normal mode Blue.
UG600 LED is not turning blue as expected?
Some UG600 may require a software update before they can be used on the app.
Wait a couple minutes for the gateway to finish turning on and being ready. The LED may be blue, or possibly stay green
In the app do not log in - instead choose local Wi-Fi mode
The app will now search for and populate any local gateways it can see
Select your gateway from the populated list (based on the LAN number)
To confirm this gateway, enter the EUID number (or scan it from the top left QR code)
After the UG is found, the UG will appear on screen and the app takes to a dashboard page.
Click on the cog icon in the upper right corner of the background image. then perform a “Scan my home” (cogwheel icon)
The UG will poll for any updates available and show them as cloud icons on the scan results.
The blue updates must be done before the green security update.
Only click on one update, then wait for the data to be downloaded, unpacked and installed to the UG.
Once compete, run scan my home again and click on the second blue update and wait for the process to completed.
Then when the second is complete, run scan my home and install the final green cloud update which is the Security Update.
Only when all three are completed will the LED become blue and you can follow the usual instructions to add the UG to your own account
Once all of the outstanding updates are installed you should be able to carry on with the steps outlined in the set up guide. Now, log out of the app and log back in to the app, register your UG600 as per the user manual.
