UGE600 won’t connect via LAN – Blue LED not lit

Sometimes, even with a working router and correctly connected LAN cable, the UGE600 gateway fails to go ONLINE (blue LED missing). Below are possible reasons and a fallback configuration in Offline (Local) mode.

1. Basic checks
  1. Power on – green LED = OK.
  2. LAN cable plugged into router.
  3. Try a different LAN port or cable.
  4. Blue LED = ONLINE – if missing, continue troubleshooting.
2. Possible reasons
  1. Router blocks outgoing traffic (ports, MAC filter).
  2. Gateway requires firmware update (OTA).
  3. IP address conflict in LAN.
  4. LAN port fault (rare).
  5. The phone/tablet running the app is on a different network, or a VPN is enabled – the gateway and the app device must be on the same router Wi-Fi/LAN. If they are not (or a VPN is active), the app will hang when searching for the gateway via LAN.
3. Temporary fix – Offline mode

If Internet is not available, use Offline mode:

  1. Power the gateway (green LED).
  2. Press and hold button for 5 sec → flashing red LED = ZigBee open.
  3. Pair devices (KL08RF, TRV, RX10RF).
  4. Press button again (5 sec) → solid red LED = ZigBee closed.
  5. Gateway now works in local mode.

When Internet is restored, scan gateway in SALUS Premium Lite app – the system will automatically switch to ONLINE mode

4. Firmware update (for new devices)

If UGE600 never connected to Internet before, it may need OTA update:

  • Connect via LAN to router.
  • In SALUS Premium Lite app: “Local WiFi Mode” → “Scan My Home” → start OTA update.
  • LED sequence: red → green → blue = update complete.
