iT800 - FAQs

Question: Where are custom schedules on the iT800?

Answer: There are 2 ways to get to get to custom schedules.
When only the thermostat is pinned to the dashboard you will see the schedule under the thermostat on dashboard, scroll down, use the pen icon to get into editing the schedule.
If you have the receiver pinned to the dashboard too, you will see two devices on screen. In this case press the thermostat tile to flip it, then tap on its name to get into the thermostat’s settings, scroll to the bottom where Schedule is, use pen icon to edit schedule.
Note: Make sure you have the Mode selected to “Follow Schedule” - symbol “A” under the heat sign indicator, otherwise the schedule will be ignored.



Question: When pressing button 1 for 3 sec the thermostat won't go off 88.8?

Answer: The 88.8 can appear for 2 reasons, when the unit resets and when in ident mode.
When you press and/or hold the receivers Zigbee button for less than 3 sec the bottom light will flash green indicating identify mode, if the thermostat is already connected to the receiver, it will flash 88.8 on the thermostat. Short press the receivers Zigbee button again to stop identify mode the thermostat should stop flashing.



Question: How do I download the iT800 app?

Answer: The Salus iT800 uses the “Salus Premium Lite” app. This app is available in the Google “Play store” for Android devices and “App Store” for Apple devices.



Question: What does running state mean on the temperature curve graph on the Salus premium lite app?

Answer: The running state shows the On and Off times for the device. The percentage value indicates the overall “On” time in the above selected Start to End time frame.


Question: My app is showing the iT800 as offline so unable to use it to turn on heating?

Answer: You can still control the heating with the iT800 dial thermostat, till your offline issue is resolved.


Question: 
My IT800 thermostat has the E1 error on screen?

Answer: IT800 thermostat displaying error code E1 mean the thermostat and receiver are no longer paired.

Follow the re-pairing steps in the quick guide manual to re-link the thermostat and receiver.


Question: Can I set a maximum setpoint on the IT800?
Answer: IT800 thermostat systems can be set up with a minimum and a maximum set.
In the app, click the Menu, then Equipment and All Equipment.

·      Next click on the tile for your thermostat.

·      On the thermostat’s information page click on the cog icon and then Advance settings.

·      Edit the minimum and maximum set points and click Save at the bottom of the screen.



Question: iT800TX – Not turning on?
Answer: 
To turn on the iT800TX try holding its button for 5-7 seconds.
If your iT800TX thermostat still does not turn on you will need to first charge the thermostat.
While the iT800TX comes part charged, the charge can drain while sitting in storage.
Plug the stand to power and set the iT800TX on the stand to charge, you should see a red battery sign appear indicating charging.



Question: The iT800 / iT800TX – EUID and model number location?
Answer: The iT800 / iT800TX unit’s EUID number is located on the rear of the thermostat, below the model number.



Question: How do I reboot the iT800 / iT800TX gateway?
Answer: The iT800 / iT800TX unit’s gateway is inside its receiver, the WZ600. To reboot the gateway you need to reboot the WZ600 – power cycle the receiver at the mains, leaving it off for 10 seconds. This retains all your existing settings and clears possible faults.



Question: The iT800 charge indicator stays at half full and doesn’t complete?
Answer: The iT800WIFI thermostat will only charge correctly when its padded cushion is in direct contact with the face of the charger dock.
Check that there are no other parts between the charger and the thermostat, as this prevents efficient charging.



Question: Can I set the iT800WIFI thermostat to show the room temperature all the time?
Answer: The thermostat display turns off after a few seconds, but you can keep the screen lit up.
Place the thermostat on its charging dock, then in the app select the thermostat to enter its settings menu.
Enable the ‘Display Always on’ item and this will keep the screen lit up while it is being charged.



Question: My iT800WIFI thermostat has lost the connection to the receiver?
Answer: Re-pair the thermostat to the receiver as follows:
- On the receiver, take a paperclip and insert it into the left-hand switch, which is marked ZigBee.
- Press it in for 3 seconds; the bottom switch LED should now flash blue.
- On the thermostat, press the button for 3 seconds until HC is on screen.
- Turn the dial to Fr and press the button, then turn the dial to select Yes and press the button.
- The radio antenna should flash on the thermostat, then stop flashing when it is paired with the receiver.
- Use the paperclip again to press the ZigBee pairing button for 3 seconds to get the bottom LED to turn green.



Question: How do I link my SALUS iT800 thermostat to Alexa?
Answer: To use Alexa with the iT800, install the Salus Skill in your Alexa app and follow the steps to link it, logging into your Premium Lite account to complete the connection.
