If your display is showing 5’C (or a figure between 5’C and 17’C) and you are unable to increase or decrease the temperature then this is because your Thermostat is currently in Frost Protection Mode. There will also be a Frost icon on the display confirming you are in Frost Protection Mode. Pressing the Frost button on the thermostat will exit Frost Protection Mode and allow you to change the temperature. For more information about Frost Protection Mode please see below. Frost Protection Mode ensures that the temperature of your home does not fall below a certain point to prevent your pipes from freezing. To Activate : |
Simply press the Frost Button to activate Frost Protection Mode. The Frost Protection Symbol will appear in the display to show it is active. |
To De-Activate : |
Simply press the Frost Button to de-activate Frost Protection Mode . The Frost Protection Symbol will disappear from the display. |
To Review the Frost Setpoint Temperature : |
The Frost Setpoint Temperature can be reviewed by pressing the up or down arrow key whilst in Frost Mode, but can only be changed in Installer Mode. Please refer to RT310RF - Frost Setpoint (salus-tech.com) for changing the Frost Setpoint. |
