UG600 - Green light not going Blue
When you are sure the UG600 is not blocked in the router from accessing the internet and you are still experiencing a constant green light, this means the gateway has an old Firmware that is not compatible with our current cloud network and will not be found by the app in your account online till it is updated.
Leaving it connected for 24h will auto update the Firmware automatically, confirming successful update with a constant blue light. You can speed this up, or if it failed to auto update, by manually updating the UG600 yourself.
To update the UG600 Firmware you need to connect your phone to the same local network (router) as the UG600 is plugged into - WiFi repeater or signal booster networks will not work, disable any VPN’s on your device for the time being as well:
1. Open the app or log out of the app to get to the Sign in screen, now chose the Local WiFi mode at the sign in screen.
2. Select your UG600 - your unique MAC and EUID codes will be on the bottom of your UG600
4. The UG600 will be displayed with its current version and 2-3 clouds with arrow pointing down - these are the updates. Press on one at a time, let it finish before pressing the next one, if the update fails try the other one - there is an order this needs to be done in.
